Overcome Evil with Good
Romans 12:9–21 · Matthew 18:15–20
Evil can defeat an enemy. Love can turn an enemy into a brother. Romans 12 calls Christians to overcome evil with good, while Matthew 18 shows us how to confront sin without abandoning the sinner. Together, these passages reveal the rules of Heaven’s Kingdom: refuse revenge, speak the truth, protect the innocent, seek repentance, and love at great cost. As Christ creates a new humanity, His Church is called to become a place where the world can see His coming Kingdom breaking through.
