Anglicans seek to hold together biblical faithfulness, ancient tradition, reverent worship, and a living trust in Jesus Christ.

Rooted in Christ
At the center of Anglican faith is Jesus Christ: the eternal Son of God, who became man for us, died for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, and reigns as Lord. Through him we receive forgiveness, new life, and the hope of resurrection.

Grounded in Scripture
Anglicans receive the Bible as the inspired Word of God and the final authority for Christian faith and life. Scripture is not only studied and preached; it fills our prayers, shapes our worship, and continually reforms the life of the Church.

Confessing the Historic Faith
We believe the faith expressed in the Apostles’ Creed and the Nicene Creed: one God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—and one Lord, Jesus Christ, truly God and truly man. These creeds unite us with Christians across centuries, cultures, and nations.

Reformed and Catholic
Anglicanism holds together what many traditions separate. We are Reformed in our commitment to Scripture, the gospel of grace, and salvation through faith. We are Catholic in our continuity with the ancient Church, its creeds, sacraments, and worship.
Formed by Word and Sacrament
Anglican worship is centered upon the reading and preaching of Scripture and the celebration of Holy Communion. Through the Book of Common Prayer, the Christian year, and the sacraments, the faith becomes more than something we understand. It becomes a life we inhabit.
Anglicanism is more than a set of beliefs. It is a way of worshipping, praying, and following Jesus within the historic life of his Church.
