 The feast of Pentecost celebrates the coming of the Holy Spirit and the birth of the Church. Drawing together the stories of Babel and Pentecost, we see the contrast between human ambition and divine grace, between kingdoms built by our own strength and the eternal kingdom God is building through His Spirit. Even the smallest acts of faithfulness become part of something that will last forever.
