Sunday 28 June - The City of God (Matthew 10:34-42) -

​The world around us is changing, and many Christians feel a growing sense of grief as the culture moves further from its Christian foundations. Drawing on Jesus' challenging words in Matthew 10 and Augustine of Hippo's timeless vision of the City of God, we are reminded that while earthly nations rise and fall, the Kingdom of God cannot be shaken. Our calling is not to place our hope in earthly cities, but to live as citizens of the heavenly one.
